The Valley of  Flowers  National park is located 300km north of Rishikesh near Badrinath, In Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The valley of Flowers is sparkling and the opulent and it is discovered in 1931. It is enclosed by the white peak which looks splendid. This National Park is ranked second among places to visit in the valley of flowers and it is the second core zone of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve. There are a number of places to visit nearby Valley Of flowers.

Nanda Devi National Park

The Nanda Devi National Park is situated nearby Valley of Flowers and has declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is the second highest peak in India.

The Nanda Devi Park is the home of numbers of animals, mammals, birds, plants, and trees. The entry for this park is from Lata village around 22 km from Joshimath. The best time to visit this Park is from April to June.

Vasudhara Falls

Vasudhara Fall is located in Badrinath. The distance from Badrinath to Vasudhara is around 8km only and from Mana village, the walkable trek starts which is of around 6 km. The height of this falls is 400 ft and it looks splendid and natural.

Lakshman Ganga River

The Lakshman Ganga River flows through the Bhuyandar Valley, from Hemkund Lake. It merges with Pushpawati River in Ghangaria. This is journey is beautiful for trekking point of view. The breathtaking mountains are the beauty of the surrounding.

Govind Ghat

Govindghat is a small town in Chamoli District which lies around 22 km from Joshimath at an altitude of 6000 feet. It is located on the way of Joshimath. Govind Ghat is the starting point of the valley of Flowers and the Hemkund Sahib. If you really want to be surrounded by the natural things this is the right place to spend your leisure time.
