Day-1: Dehradun Railway Station - Dhaula
You will have to gather in Dehradun to drive up to Mori which is a hamlet situated on the banks of River Ton. While traveling to Dhaula you will witness Yamuna River flowing through the Mori Village. The drive from Dehradun to Dhaula is of about 10 hours. Set up tents for an overnight stay.
Day-2 : Dhaula - Sewa
On the second day, you will be starting your trek from Dhaula to Sewa of 11 km but it will not be a hard trek till Sewa so you won’t get very tired. After reaching Sewa Gaon you will have to trek a sharp climb of 200 meters outside the village but after walking for like 20 minutes the trek becomes easy again. You can explore the Kinnaur temple at Sewa and after reaching your destination you will be spending the night in the tents.
Day-3 : Sewa to Jakha
This day you will be trekking from Sewa to Jhaka so brace yourself a challenging route. You will have to pass through hamlets and narrow ascending and descending route through rocks and forests of Deodar. You can then rest in Jiksun from where you will have to trek an ascent climb of 3 km to reach Jhaka Village. After arriving Jhaka set up the camps for night stay.
Day-4 : Jakha - Saruwas thach
Get up early and start your 10 km trek to Saruwas Thach from Jhaka through the dense forest of deodar, pine and maple and clean water streams. Saruwas is a beautiful meadow in the Rupin Valley camping. It is an amazing experience. From here the first waterfall of Rupin is also visible. Set up camps to spend the night.
Day-5 : Saruwas thach to Waterfall Camp
This is going to be an exciting day for you all, be ready for some spectacular views on your way from Saruwas Thach to waterfall camp. You will be trekking through forests, snow bridges, waterfalls, meadows and rocky mountains, sounds amazing, right? You will first be reaching Dhanderas, relax there for a while and then start trekking to Waterfall camp, from here your trek difficulty will increase and it will not be possible for you to reach there in one go you will be stopping at some places to catch your breath and rest. After reaching your destination you can relax and enjoy your campsite.
Day-6 : Waterfall Camp - Rupin Pass - Ronti Gad
Get up early in the morning have a wholesome of breakfast today’s trek will be challenging too, you will be ascending snowfields and rocky paths as well. You might also need some ropes to use on stretches. It may take around 4-6 hours. The trail to Rupin Pass is short but challenging, on your way there might be some risks involves like falling of stones from above so walk carefully. At the Rupin Pass, you can enjoy the fascinating views of the Himalayas, summits of Kinner Kailash and summits of Charang La.
Take rest for a while and then start trekking to arrive Ronti Gad. After reaching there just relax and spend the night in the tents after a tiring day.
Day-7 : Ronti Gad - Sangla
This is going to be the last day of your trekking, after having breakfast start trekking to Sangla. You will be trekking a long and uphill climb to Sangla. This trail will give you to see some stunning views of Himalayas. It is a 12 km trek. After reaching there you will be spending the night in tents.
Day-8 : Sangla - Shimla
Today your Rupin Pass Trek tour comes to an end. You will take a ride to Shimla from Sangla and then to your home.
